Under the Table

The scandalous appointment of Delyan Peevski as head of DANS (the national security service) on the now historic June 14th, has caused deep seated civic reactions regarding his well-known business connections.

Information about him and his business development has spread increasingly within several online media outlets. It was his rather scant biography and his presence in two separate developments within the agency, to which he was later appointed as chief, are the two main reasons for widespread public outrage.

In addition, another list has been published showing all the different media forms that Mr. Peevski and his mother - Irena Krusteva - are connected to. We offer you the full list of websites, television and radio stations, newspapers and magazines, which are either openly or secretly owned by the Peevski family and whose immediate function is to bend the truth and re-shape public discourse by manipulating the public opinion and hiding the the actions of those in power for many, many years. The development of this growing media empire had begun long before the election of the current government and it has continued to grow, despite the shift within the power structures.
